JAMMU, Jan 10: Government has framed RTI Act to provide the information required to publc within a specified time but seems like not bothered by some big bosses in the state like Parveen Kumar, PIO, the ACR Samba.
It is pertinent to mention here there are so many cases with Cross Town News regarding violations made by the said officer, which shall follow.
But no action on such officers by the Administration is a matter of concern. His non compliances has been recently published in a leading daily paper with documents but no actions on such like officers is matter of concern, which are in real dead woods as per Art 226(2) of JKCSR.
An appeal was filed vide receipt No. 08184244 from DC Samba office. Pawan Kumar Sharma, then ADC Samba vide No. 148-49 dated 08.09.2016 informed the applicant for hearing. As applicant was out of state he requested ADC to advise the PIO, the ACR Samba to provide the information as requested in Form-I, but no communication to applicant till today speaks how RTI is taken care in Samba district.
Again vide single window receipt no. 08188310 dated 03.12.2016 again applicant filed RTI for near about same information & 30 days expired on 02.01.2016 but the PIO, the ACR, Samba did not bothered to reply. It is to mention that, the same ACR was the PIO in previous RTI. Non replying RTI speaks of his supremacy over & above the government act is a matter of concern.
It is also to mention that an applicant vide receipt no 08188763 dated 17.12.2016 submitted an application addressed to ACR Samba for some NOC with all documents & the matter of which stands discussed with him by the representative but the big KAS officer, ACR, Samba , Perveen Kumar not acted is to be looked by whom?, which speaks about the efficiency of single window system.
It is matter of concern to publicize that application under RTI is very simple & is regarding action taken on the communication of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu. It is just to inform public that if letter of Div. Com. communicated in December,2015 followed by last reminder vide no. 402/1558-UTEIC/3879 dated 17.12.2016 Is not bothered, what shall be fate of other innocents in the state. It speaks of work culture in J&K.
