Congress to retain Ladakh Hill Council Leh: Mir

LEH, Sep 20: PCC chief Ghulam Ahmed Mir said that being a vibrant force in all the three regions, Congress party has always taken care of aspirations of the people. The party is committed to  strengthen the people of  Ladakh and other regions equally and won’t  tolerate any kind of disparity among the regions.

Praising people of  Ladakh region for whole heartedly supporting the  Congress Party, PCC urged the people of Leh to elect the Congress  Candidates for Hill Council  with a thumping majority and defeat the  politics  of exploitation by the PDP -BJP Coalition, aiming to create wedge, between the regions to get  politically benefitted.

Accusing Coalition Govt  of ignoring people of  Ladakh region on  political basis, PCC chief said that Coalition Govt led by PDP is very  much confused and anguished to see the whole hearted support of people  for the Congress party in all the three regions of the State and out of frustration it (Coalition)  is out to victimize the people on  political grounds aiming to get politically benefitted, he said.

Speaking on the occasion CLP Leader Nawang Rigzin Jora urged the Party  cadre to work tirelessly for the development of the people and educate them about the programmes and policies of the Congress Party. He expressed confidence that Congress party is strong enough not only in Ladakh region, but in other regions of the State.
