  Police holds cricket match for special children

 JAMMU, Sep 19:  Range Police Headquarter Jammu organized one day cricket match of deaf and dumb youth at Cricket Ground Science College, Jammu.The chief guest,  Rajnish Pran, SSP, Staff Officer to DIG JSK Range, Jammu  said that the main objective of organizing the event is to make these special children feel happy and boost their morale.

The match was played between Team Red and Team Green. Team Red won the toss and elected to bat first. It scored 119 runs in 15 over  by losing 4 wickets. Team Green scored only 109 runs and was all out in 14 over thus loosing the game by 10 runs.Pankaj Kumar of Red Team was declared as  man of the match, he took 05 wickets.

Among others Parshotam Sharma, Deputy Director Prosecution, RPHQ Jammu, Yasbir Singh Salathia Dy. SP DAR DPL Jammu, Bishan Dass Dy. SP, Pvt. Secy to DIG JSK Rang, Er. V.K Gupta (Retd) President J&K Association of the Deaf & Dumb, Bhushan Kesar General Secy. J&K Association of the Deaf & Dumb and Vijay Chopra  Sports Secy J&K Association of the Deaf & Dumb were also present during the match.
