JAMMU, JANUARY 06: The Department of Technical Education has recently elevated 15 officials from the post of Vocational Instructors to Supervisors and disposed off more than 100 in-situ promotion cases in ITI sector.

A large number of promotional claims of various categories of employees working in both the executive and ministerial cadre of the Department have also been finalized.
Pertinent to mention that on the directions of Minister for Information Technology, Technical Education and Youth Services & Sports Imran Raza Ansari, the Directorate has convened several meetings of the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) for Non-Gazetted from January, 2016 to December, 2016.
