JAMMU: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday said that internal rift between senior Congress leadership has reached a level that days are not far when the country will get rid of Congress party viz Congress-Mukt Bharat.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP stalwart said that latest grudge between Ghulam Nabi Azad and the Congress’ central leadership is testimony to the fact that the oldest political party has turned hollow and is on the verge of collapse as many of its senior leaders have already quit the party after getting fed up of the dynastic policies being imposed by the Congress higher command. He said that the resignation of Azad on the very same day from the Election Campaign Committee (ECC) established for Jammu and Kashmir by the top party leadership is evidence of the fact that everything is not in order inside the Congress Party as the situation internally is deteriorating with each passing day.
Kavinder said that the appointment of Azad was made by none other than AICC President Sonia Gandhi and the way the senior Congress leader has rejected the proposal, it can be gauged well that Congress’ house is not in order. He said that the present scenario in the Congress Party has made the assertion more stronger that soon India will become Congress-free and to make this happen there is no need for any outsider because the conflicts and differences between party leaders are more than enough to ensure collapse of the party which now has become inevitable.
Meanwhile, Kavinder has condoled the demise of veteran BJP leader Kuldeep Raj. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently enquired about the well being of Kuldeep Raj telephonically as he was very much concerned about his health status.
Kavinder said that the death of Kuldeep Raj has created a vacuum in the political sphere and the seasoned political personality will be remembered for long for his welfare initiatives and philanthropic approach during public life. He prayed to God to give eternal peace to the departed soul and give solace to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
