Militants group threatens Hindi & bengali speakers to leave Tripura

Tripura, Jan 03: Three militant outfits of North East, Kamatapur Liberation Organization, National Liberation Front of Tripura and People's Democratic Council of Karbilongri had set March 31 as ‘deadline’ for ‘Hindi speakers’ and Bengalis to ‘quit Kamatapur, Karbi-Longri and Tripura’ in an statement, reporter said. The statement was signed by KLO ‘chairman’ Jiban Singh Koch, NLFT ‘organising secretary’ Seng-phulBorok and PDCK ‘chairman’ JK Lijang.

The statement also condemned the killing of suspected I.K. Songbijit faction of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB-IKS), RatnaNarzary of Khunguri village of Chirang District on December 29 by Security Forces (SFs). According to the report, all these three militant groups are mentored by the Khaplang faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-K) and Independent faction of United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA-I).
