JAMMU, MAY 5: Only outgoing DC Jammu Anshul Garg has initiated the process of demarcation of private khuds in a phased manner, which otherwise stands order vide SRO-456 dtd 25th October, 2017 by which Div Com & DCs were appointed as adjudicating Officers & thereafter LG vide AC approval order 27th Jan ordered to do the excercise to put the issue in Public Domain in 15 days vide Secretary Revenues order dated: 4th Feb 2022, which raised a pointer towards working .
In the first phase, private khuds falling within the limits of the Jammu Municipal Corporation from revenue tehsils of Jammu Khas, Jammu North and Jammu West have been put up for calling public objections which are available in the respective sub-division/Tehsil offices and also on the district website jammu.nic.in under the what’s new section.
The rest of the Tehsils will be taken up in next phases but when it shall remain a big question as no final time period fixed again.
The general public is advised to go through the contents of the demarcation notices within time and file the objections, if any.
Now, let us see that how much further time DCs will take to continue harassment to thousand of innocents on a undesired issue & without any order of ban on sale of sale & purchase of such kind of nomenclature lands, where Govt is itself constructing AIIMS, Vijaypur, JDA Colonies & Medical Colleges etc etc, which is no doubts speaks of violation of Art 14&16 of constitution of India & matter of a high level enquiry.
It is also a question that Government issued Govt order on 4th Feb in ref to SRO-456, what actions they proposed for non compliance of SRO-456 which was issued in compliance to PIL IN DB, & caused loss to thousand of crore per month to govt exchequer since then by way of stamp duty fee but without any ban on sale purchase, if so that order needed to put in public domain to detect the concerned.
