HYDERABAD: Income Tax department sleuths are investigating a person who has declared Rs 10,000 crore under the Income Declaration Scheme (IDS) in Hyderabad.
As per reports, last week officials raided the businessman's residence and other locations in the posh Banjara Hills area after he failed to pay the first instalment of 25 per cent tax under the IDS. Income Tax officials are now assessing the businessman's declaration claim.
