JAMMU, Feb 12: Former Member J&K Sports Council and Editor Cross Town News Rahil Gupta expressed gratitude to LG Manoj Sinha for Cash Awards upto Rs 1 cr for outstanding Sportspersons, Sports Policy , Scholarships.
Rahil congratulated and thanked Lieutenent Governor Sh Manoj Sinha, who is also the President of the J&K Sports Council, Advisor Sh Farooq Khan, Principal Secretary DYSS Sh Alok Kumar and Secretary J&K Sports Council Ms Nuzat Gul for comprehensive Sports Policy of J&K.
Rahil said," Sports Policy of J&K a comprehensive document , which will benifit the youth of Jammu and Kashmir"
Rahil added " UT Award & Special Cash Awards of upto Rs 1 cr to outstanding Sportspersons in J&K , will give confidence to Sportspersons to excell further."
Categorization of Sports Disciplines in J&K for Awards & Incentives and Scholarship , Reservation , Appointment of Sportsperson in J&K , along with major focus put on building Sports Infrastructure in J&K, will further help Sportspersons to move in right direction, Rahil said.
