Jammu: Ace sports administrator & former J&K cricketer Ranjeet Kalra has expressed gratitude to Hon'ble Lieutenent Governor J&K Sh Manoj Sinha's administration for approving a comprehensive sports policy for Jammu and Kashmir.
Kalra in a statement issued to the media said," it's great to see that the sports policy is finally released. It's a comprehensive document and it's quite apparent that a lot of hardwork has gone into the prepration of this policy .
I on behalf of my fellow sportspersons and the sporting fraternity thank the Hon'ble Lieutenent Governor Sh Manoj Sinha, who is also the President of the J&K Sports Council, Hon'ble Advisor Sh Farooq Khan, Principal Secretary DYSS Sh Alok Kumar and secretary J&K Sports Council Ms Nuzat Gul for the release of the much awaited Sports Policy of J&K.
I am sure this policy shall act as a guiding force for the betterment of sports in the UT of Jammu Kashmir.
