Amit Shah launches DGGI in J&K ; Appreciates LG J&K for making J&K Top performer

JAMMU, Jan 22: Shri Amit Shah, Minister for Home released the District Good Governance Index for 20 Districts of UT of Jammu and Kashmir on January 22, 2022 in the two day event organized jointly by Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances(DARPG), GOI and Jammu & Kashmir Institute of Management, Public Administration & Rural Development in association with the Centre for Good Governance Hyderabad.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah while addressing Audience  said that after abrogation of Artcile 370, there have massive development in J&K.

Shah said J&K is among top 5 States/UTs in India in implementing Centre Schemes and congratualted LG Manoj Sinha for making J&K top performer..

Shri Manoj Sinha, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir  addressed the 2-day event and thanked  PM Modi Home Minister for continuous support and said in coming years J&K will see massive development.

Dr JitendraSingh, Hon’ble Minister for Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions appreciated the efforts of LG Administration for launching The District Good Governance Index of Jammu and Kashmir.

The Chief Secretary Government of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Arun Kumar Mehta said the focus has been on providing best gfacilities to public of J&K.

Shri V. Srinivas, Secretary DARPG, Government of India also  addressed the 2 day event and said alomg with DG IMPARD Saurab Bhagat handed over DGGI to J&K CS in record foru months.

Senior Officers of J&K Government were present on the occassion.
