New Delhi, Jan 08.One IPS Officer of 1994 batch, who is presently working as Police Commissioner, Kanpur has applied for volountary retirement to try his luck in upcomming elections to get a ministrial birth.
Pertinent to mention here that his father Shri Rm Arun had also served as a police chief of the state.
Reportedly, after meeting Yogi Adityanath, CM of UP, he has opted to contest election from Kannouj Assembly seat.
