RAMBAN, NOVEMBER 25: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz today convened a meeting of local self governance bodies of Batote, Ramban and Banihal to take stock of developmental activities being undertaken in their jurisdictions.
The meeting was attended by ACR Vivek Puri, CPO Uttam Singh, Deputy Director DRDA and concerned senior officers.
Detailed discussions were held on issues regarding establishment of solid waste management plants, removal of encroachments, construction of Community Sanitary Complexes & Individual Household Latrine units besides identification of land for creation of parking lots.
The meeting also discussed in detail the status of building permissions and details of development works carried out by the local bodies.
