Himayat Mission organizes job fair in Jammu

JAMMU, Dec 21: Himayat Mission Management unit organized   a job fair under Azadi Ka Amrit  Mahotsav   wherein nine employers namely Raymond, Divyani, Ecom express,Quess Staffing, PNG HR, Jeena Seekho Life Services Pvt. Ltd., Bharti Healthcare Services, BVG Group and Monalisa  offered job openings in field of Retail, Hospitality, Health sector etc. It was   attended by officials of Himayat Mission Management Unit, NABARD Consultancy Services (NABCONS), NIRDPR and officials of Program implementing agencies.

 

Himayat-DDUGKY is implemented on Private-Public-Partnership (PPP) mode, where organizations registered with the Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Government of India (GoI), implement the programme as Project Implementing Agencies(PIAs).

A total of 293 candidates trained by Project Implementing Agencies in different domains like Retail, Hospitality,General Duty Assistant, Electrical have participated in the Job Fair as organized by HMMU. It was ensured that each participant has been interviewed by   atleast two employer of similar trade .Out of 293 participated,222 have been shortlisted by participating employers. Few selected candidates have been issued offer letter on the spot which were handed over to them by COO,HMMU in presence of concerned employer. She appreciated the representatives of companies for hiring the candidates & urged them to engage maximum number of Himayat trainees in future recruitment drives in their respective companies. She informed that these types of Job fairs provide an opportunity to trained candidates from all streams to access career options. COO , HMMU acknowledged the presence of participating employers by presenting them with a momento

 

COO HMMU congratulated all the shortlisted and selected candidates .She shared her thoughts and experiences with candidates and encourage the candidates to take the placement   opportunities outside the Union Territory of J&K.
