ROC J&K & Ladakh holds Stocktake meeting

JAMMU, Nov 08: Incharge Registrar of Companies for UTs of J&K & Ladakh, AROC Haamid Bukhari chaired a review meeting on Friday last week  in which many important aspects were discussed. AROC called for the 4th Drive of ‘Striking off’ the names of companies under Section 248 of Companies Act 2013 from Nov 1, 2021. These companies have failed in fulfilling the statutory obligations under the law & hence are required to be struck off from the register.
Second important decision was taken in line with the nation wide Swachta Campaign to ‘weed out’ the old files to make the office premises look clean.

Such 100s of old files were weeded out at both the office locations in Jammu and Srinagar and a weekly review reports were examined by the ROC.
Third, Shri Bukhari also took a review of the filings by the Government companies/PSUs incorporated in the UT of J&K & UT of Ladakh and directed the officials to sensitise Government companies to complete their filings as early as possible.
