Div Com visits LPG bottling plant, FCI Godown

 

SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 10:  Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan, Thursday visited LPG Bottling Plant Pampore and FCI Godown Lethpora to review stock position of essential supplies in the valley.

At Pampore, the Divisional Commissioner was informed that about 20000 LPG gas cylinders are presently available at the plant. He was further informed that against the capacity of 3520 MTs at the plant, 3000 MTs of gas is available. 

The Divisional Commissioner asked the concerned to maintain stocks for 32 days at the plant in advance to avoid shortage of gas in the event of adverse weather conditions in the valley.

While reviewing the stock position of food grains at FCI Godown, Lethpora,  the Divisional Commissioner was told that 48617 MTs of ration is available at the godown. He directed for advance stocking of food grains for three months (132057 MTs) at the godown.  

The Divisional Commissioner asked the officials to work with added zeal and dedication so that people don’t face any inconvenience with regard  to availability of essential commodities.
