DC reviews progress on DDB decisions

RAJOURI NOVEMBER 07:  Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Shabir Ahmed Bhat, today chaired a meeting to review the progress on several decisions taken in the District Development Board (DDB) meeting for development of the district.

A threadbare discussion was made regarding physical and financial achievements registered in the district as per decisions taken during the district development board meeting.

          

On the occasion, the district heads of all the departments briefed the meeting about the progress and achievement made under different sectors.

Superintendent Engineer PDD, informed   the meeting that Rs. 50 lakh have been utilized for establishment of the transformer bank and till date 169 transformers have been repaired.

While taking stock of the R&B Department, the meeting was briefed that against an outlay of Rs.18.30 crore Rs.5.52 crore have been utilized till date. Besides, 5.93 km of road length has been macadamized. 

Under IAY, about 122 beneficiaries have been covered and against an outlay of Rs. 5.49 crore Rs.1.62 crore have been released till date. 

The Deputy Commissioner stressed upon all the officers to work in a synergized way so that the projects taken up for the welfare of the people are completed well in time and people could avail benefit of these projects.

The meeting was also attended by  Additional District Development Commissioner   A.S. Chib  Additional Deputy Commissioner Mumtaz Choudhary     Superintendent Engineer PWD Abdul Majeed Wani, SE Hydraulic Mohammad Rafiq, SE PDD Gurmeet Singh, Executive Engineer PWD Sadeeq Wani  besides the  Officers of RDD, Tourism, R&B, PHE, PDD, PMGSY, I&FC, Tourism Development Authority, Agriculture, Animal and Sheep Husbandry, Industries, Cooperatives, Handloom, Handicrafts, Social Welfare and other concerned departments.
