JAMMU, Nov 05: SSP Jammu, Dr. Sunil Gupta, directed Investigation Officers (IOs) to improve the quality of investigation and speedy disposal of cases assigned to them for conducting the investigation.
SSP was speaking in a crime review meeting of Police Sub-Division City West, Jammu. The meeting was attended among others by SP City North, Dr. Vinod Kumar, SDPO City West Nikhil Rasgotra, SHO Police Station Nowabad, Bakshi Nagar, Incharge Police Post TalabTillo, Canal Road, Sarwal, GMC and IOs.
The main focus of the meeting was investigation of burglary, motor vehicle theft, NDPS Act and other cases.
SSP Jammu personally check the case files of heinous offences & taking serious note of it and directed I/Os to improve the quality of investigation. He also advised the Police Stations staff to conduct foot patrolling in their respective jurisdictions and make the beat system stronger to avoid theft and other incidents.
