JAMMU, Nov 05: It was the talk of the town that Rural Development department was made empowered to construct 94 bunkers at critical spots in r Jammu district, which were sanctioned for the financial year 2016.
Sources told Cross Town News that the bunkers were designed to accommodate 20 persons.
Authorities received so many complaints in respect of poor quality of construction of bunkers and water was filled in bunkers due to high water table in some bunkers, sources told Cross Town News.
It was bad that in spite of saving the life of innocents they were put in trouble by putting them in swimming pool.
It was good decision that cost of additional works to be carried out on half a dozen bunkers would be recovered from attached BDO Arnia.
It is not only that BDO who had constructed the Bunker, there may be some executing agency, Engineers who would have given the design should also be taken to task, who played with the lives of sufferers.
