Managerial skills have become more consequential in today’s globally competitive market: Saurabh Bhagat

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 15: Director General, J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (J&KIMPARD), Saurabh Bhagat, today presided over joint valedictory function of three training courses here at IMPARD Main Campus, Srinagar.

These courses included “Managerial Skills for Non-Managers”, “Menstrual Hygiene Management” and “Disaster Preparedness with Special reference to Earthquake“. About thirty five officers from various departments of the UT government attended these training courses.

DG IMPARD, while addressing on the occasion, said that managerial skills have become more consequential in today’s globally competitive market than ever before in the history.

He added that effective managers can create a world of difference in the efficiency and performance of an organization. DG informed the trainees about the recent initiatives in disaster preparedness taken up by the J&K administration.

He advised the trainee participants to discuss various gender related issues like awareness about menstrual hygiene which is considered to be a social taboo and therefore avoided from open discussions.

Director Trainings, Course Coordinators and faculty members were present on the occasion.
