Kohli visits Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyai KozhiKode; Interacts with 500 students from Jammu and Kashmir


 

SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 29: Minister for Animal & Sheep Husbandry and Fisheries Er. Abdul Ghani Kohli, who was on tour to Kerala to attend BJP National Executive Meeting there, also visited the famed Jamia Markazu Ssaquafathi Ssunniyya, KozhiKode Kerala a renowned institution where thousands of students from Jammu and Kashmir and other states are being taught Islamic as well as scientific education.

The Minister interacted with students and took keen interest in working of the prestigious institute. The institute was established in 1978 and has been operating various educational and charitable centres all over the Country. 

The Minister was impressed with the curriculum taught at the institute that has been designed to suffice the needs of Islamic and scientific education. At present around 500 students from Jammu and Kashmir are studying at the institution out of total student strength of 5000. The Minister’s visit gave a moral boost to students of the state and they were excited to share their experiences, issues and achievements with him. The Minister assured the students for extending  every possible help from the state Government to successfully complete their studies.

The Minister also met with the Chairman of the Trust Jenab Sheikh Abdu Baker Ahmed, other members of the management and academic staff. He expressed his satisfaction over the academic quality of the institute. He stressed on the need to admit more students from Jammu and Kashmir in the institution. The institute is planning to open a new Dental College in the premises of the institution so that quality technical and scientific knowledge could be provided to the students.
