JAMMU, Apr 05: Traffic Advisory for April 06 in J&K.

*Note:- Commuters are advised not to travel on Jammu-Srinagar NHW without confirming the status of road from TCU Jammu/Ramban/Srinagar, in view of inclement weather prediction issued by MeT department for next few days.*
*NHW-44.*
Tomorrow , subject to fair weather and better road condition, LMVs (Passenger) shall be allowed from *Jammu towards Srinagar* on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. TCU Jammu shall liaise with TCU Ramban before releasing the traffic.
*CUT OFF TIMING:*
*LMVs from Nagrota (Jammu) 0800 hrs to 1100 hrs*
*& from Jakheni (Udhampur) 0900 hrs to 1200 hrs* .
*No Vehicle shall be allowed before and after cut off timing.*
*HMVs/Load Carriers*
Only stranded vehicles in Udhampur jurisdiction shall be allowed *towards Srinagar.*
*SFs Convoy Movement*
Security Forces are advised/requested not to ply against advisory/traffic plan in view of traffic congestion on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. *They may ply from Jammu towards Srinagar* after confirming the status of NHW.
*MUGHAL ROAD*
Mughal road is blocked due to snow accumulation.
*SSG ROAD*
SSG road is closed by the J&K Govt. vide DIVCOM Kashmir's order No 400/2020 dated 30-12-2020 till further orders.
*ADVISORY*
People are advised to undertake journey on NHW-44 only after confirming status of the road from Traffic control units as under:-
