Jammu, 4th April, 2021:- Inspector General of Police, Jammu Zone Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS conducted assessment of security situation and status of anti militancy operations at Marwah and held Darbar of SOG Jawans. He also reviewed the crime position and over all functioning of District Police Kishtwar with all supervisory officers including SHOs, investigating officers at DPL Kishtwar this afternoon.
During visit IGP Jammu Zone was accompanied by Shri Abdul Jabbar-IPS DIG of Police DKR Range and Sh. Shafqat Hussain -JKPS SSP Kishtwar.
During his visit Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS interacted with Sanathan Dharam and Majlisai Shura Kishtwar and made an appeal for maintenance of law & order in the district . He gave Patient hearing to the issues of both communities and assured their redressal within shortest possible time. Both members of the communities promised to work for the communal harmony, peace and amity .
Later , Some of the Police Officials/officers who were awarded DGP’s Commendation Medal were also decorated by the IGP Jammu. The awardees include Sh Pardeep Singh SDPO Atholi , Dy DP DAR Sh. Dhreej Sing Katoch, Insp Sohan Singh, Sgct Majid, Sgct Rakesh and Foll. Mohd Rafi.
