JAMMU: MIET Collge Jammu received the New Code of Education Awards 2021 under the category of Top Autonomous Colleges in India for Digital Excellence.
The award was presented in Delhi on 19th March by Mr. Manish Sisodia, Dy CM, Delhi Govt.
The Jury Members were Prof Anil Sahasrabudhe (Chairman, AICTE), Dr Pankaj Mittal (Secretary General, AIU) and Dr Prem Singh (Adviser, Higher Education, NITI Aayog).
As part of the Award Process, colleges were required to submit a detailed impact study of their digital initiatives.
As per details with Cross Town News, around 250 impact studies were received across the country which were reviewed by experts from Forrester Research.
MIET is the only Autonomous College from North India to receive the award and Director Ankur Gupta received the award on behlf of MIET college.
