After suggestions & Pressure : Whether J&K Govt to allow existing Liquor Shop Owners to run Wine Shops with rider condition One License per person norm to be changed to One License per Family norm ?

JAMMU, Mar 13: After suggestions from various Stake holders & pressure from politcial circles as well as Families, J&K Government may make few ammendments in  draft Excise Policy to keep monopoly in system aside.

Experts of Liquor Trade told Cross Town News that after looking at suggestion from various stake holders,  J&K Govt may allow existing Liquor Shop Owners to run Wine Shops  but this will be with the  rider condition that One License per person norm to be changed to One License per Family norm , which will make monoply to go away from Liquor structure Business  and thus will provide opportunity to more people in the Liquor along with livelihood to thousands of more people.

Experts further told Cross Town News even with the above situation , many Wine Shops will get free from monopolization and also as per High Court directions many Wine Shops to  turn free , all these free Shops then likely to go for e-auction by end of month March.
