Chandigarh: “Ahrisha Iconic Awards 2021 – Corona Warriors edition-1” held here at Nimantran Resorts in Virtual Presence of Hon’ble Union Minister of State for Health and Family Welfare Shri Ashwini Kumar Choubey as Chief Guest. The awards, presented by Ahrisha Films and the Cake Uncle, aimed to felicitate and recognise the selfless service rendered by the Corona Warriors belonging to different sectors of society hailing from the city beautiful Chandigarh.
The ceremony was also graced by Guests of Honour Shri Sanjay Tandon, member BJP National Council, PadamShree Prof. Jagat Ram, Director PGI, Shri Anil Gupta, IRS, Principal Commissioner GST Audit Panchkula, The Great Khali, Indian Wrestler, Padamshree Jatinder Singh Shunty, Ms.Surilie Gautam(Actress) on behalf of Sh.Mukesh Gautam, Vice-President PTCalong with Doyens of Health Sector Prof. Vipin Koushal,AddtlMedical Suptd of PGIMER, Prof. Ravi Gupta, Medical Suptd of GMCH 32, Prof. Virendra Nagpal, Medical Suptd of GMSH 16 and Dr. G Diwan, EX DHS of Chandigarh also graced the show with their presence.
Smt. Ved Mahajan, Chairperson Ahrisha Films while elaborating the vision of Ahrisha Films’ Iconic Awards welcomed the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour for becoming a part of the event and expressed the gratitude to the Corona Warriors.
More than 60 Corona Warriors (List Attached- annexure-1) felicitated including Doctors, Nursing Officers, Frontline Health Workers, Police and Paramilitary personnel, Media Personnels, Sanitation Officers, and Municipal Workers etc. The awardees thanked the Ahrisha Films and the Cake Uncle for organizing the award ceremony and felicitating them.
While elaborating on the future, Mr. Chaitanya Rajput of the Cake Uncle informed that they are soon planning to launch its national edition in which the Corona Warriors across the Nation would be felicitated.
The impressive ceremony at the Nimantran Resorts was also attended by the Who’s Who of the city.
