DC reviews functioning of Revenue Department, directs revenue officers to submit monthly report

KISHTWAR, FEBRUARY 23: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma, today reviewed functioning of Revenue Department here at an officers meeting.

SDM Chatroo, Inderjeet Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Dr. Amir Hussain; SDM Marwah, Dr. Moshin Raza; besides All Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and other concerned officers attended the meeting. During the meeting, the DC had a detailed review of various issues like progress and deposition of Jamabandis Parat, Patwar/Parat Sarkar, Girdawaries, attestation of mutations, progress on eviction of encroachment from State, Kahcharai, Common land and forest land and maintenance of Revenue Record for digitization.

The DC set March 31, 2021 as deadline for completion and deposition of Jamabandies Parat Patwar/Parat Sarkar and Girdawaries. While reviewing the progress on removal of encroachments, the DC exhorted upon the concerned officers to keep strict vigil to prevent encroachment and directed Naib Tehsildars to evict minimum 200 kanal of state land per Niyabat before next review meeting and also ensure submission of photographs and copy of Roznamcha.

He further asked for holding rural camps for the attestation of Mutation camps on 07th and 28th of every month. He also asked the concerned to attest the inheritance and other mutations within the stipulated timeline.

He directed concerned revenue officers to submit monthly report and desired information for further submission to higher authorities well in time without any fail.
