J&K gets very own “Sultan”, 31 years old shooter from nowhere gets Silver medal in state Shooting championship

JAMMU, Sep 02:  Jammu & Kashmir  got  very own Sultan in name of Vikram Jeet Singh  who recently bagged Silver medal in State Shooting championship.

Likewise in Movie Sultan , the character Sultan portrayed by actor Salman Khan became Wrestling champion at age of 32 from nowhere and only helped by his shear dedication , similar is the case of Vikram Jeet Singh who turned out to be Champion at age of 31 and within a  time frame of less than 6 months.

In Month of December , Vikram was introduced in Shooting range by his friend , who co-incidentally is our Editor in Chief  and Member of Sports Council and Transport Advisory Committee, Rahil Gupta, this is how the journey began for Vikram.

Vikram kept on working hard on his skills and he knew that talent he is having can help him to go further in this line. Keeping his age  and daily work routine aside , Vikram Jeet Singh started putting two hours a day in training and the result spoke few months  later as he won silver medal in recently held Shooting championship.

While speaking to Cross Town News , Vikram Jeet Singh said that he will soon leave for Pune to have One month long training and buy more sophisticated equipments and dress, which will enable him to perform at par with National level shooters in next National Game.

Vikram added that after his performance in National Games , he will decide upon his further  future in the game.
