JAMMU:Fairoz Khan, Senior Congress Leader and former national president of NSUI thanked Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for providing one time relaxation in the upper limit in age for the aspirants of KAS. Khan said that they have been demanding the same right after it was decided to revoke the relaxation.
Khan further said that it had created a confusion amongst the aspirants regarding the upper limit in the age . He said that candidates who were preparing for KAS were not prepared for sudden revocation of the relaxation . Now they can atleast appear once so that their hardwork and efforts spent in preparation for the exam doesn’t gets wasted.
He appreciated the quick response on the issue and also congratulated the aspirants for getting one more chance to prove their hardwork.
In the statement , Ajay Kumar, National Delegate and Election Commissioner of NSUI, also thanked LG administration for quick response in this regard and thanked Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha for providing one time age relaxation to KAS aspirants upon their request .
Congress leaders further said that though providing one time relaxation is a great relief for now, this would have been great if the status quo had been maintained and the relaxation was made permanent.
