JAMMU, Jan 16: Two Police Personnel of Poonch Police conferred with Jeevan Raksha Padak Award by MHA.
SGCT Maqsood Ahmed of district police Poonch and follower Zakir Hussain JKAP 6th Bn Mendher was awarded prestigious”JEEVAN RAKSHA PADAK 2019 “award in recognition for their bravery in saving the lives of civilians during CFV in Balakote ,Mendher (Poonch) in March 2018.
In a simple but impressive function in dak bungalow poonch both the police personnel were given this award by Deputy commissioner Poonch Rahul Yadav and Senior superintendent of police Ramesh Angral.
The award included medal,certificate and cash reward of one lakh.
The function was attended by Senoir officers of the district and appreciated the role of police personnel for their bravery and galant act.
