JAMMU, Jan 16: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to kick off COVID-19 vaccination drive today from GMC Jammu at 10 AM.
An Official told Cross Town News " Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Manoj Sinha is scheduled to launch COVID 19 Vaccination programme in Jammu and Kashmir on January 16, 2021 at Auditorium of Government Medical College Jammu at around 10 am"
2700 people across the Union Territory will receive vaccination on Day one at 27 designated sites which will be subsequently raised to over 1000.
1.07 lakh health workers across the Union Territory for vaccination in the first phase but the numbers are likely to go around 1.5 lakh as some medical students and others are yet to be registered.
Also for today, 70 top Doctors have registered themselves for vaccination to clear doubts among others.
