SRINAGAR, Aug 31:J&K Sports Council has made an initiative to increase number of qualified persons in sports coaching in collaboration with Sports Authority of India and is organizing short term coaching course in different disciplines and the last date of application for the same has been extended til 3rd September.
Accordingly, a statement was issued by J&KSSC which said " Applications on plain papers duly affixed with latest photograph were invited from permanent residents of J&K (Sportspersons) for undergoing two months “Special Certificate Course in Sports Coaching” in the disciplines of Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Football, Fencing, Gymnastics, Handball, Hockey, Judo, Swimming, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Health and fitness, Wushu etc at National Institute of Sports Patiala during the year 2016.
The last date for submission of applications has been extended up to 03 September 2016.
