New Delhi, Jan 11: The Indian Medical Association has requested all its 3.5 lakh members in 1800 local branches to voluntarily come out to get vaccinated first to show to the world that the vaccines are safe and efficacious.
In India’s vaccination drive, set to start on January 16, priority will be given to about 3 crore frontline workers, followed by around 27 crore people above the age of 50 and others with co-morbidities.
