AHEMDABAD, Jan 10: A delegation from Jammu and Kashmir headed by Nitishwar Kumar-IAS, Principal Secretary to LG, J&K visited Sabarmati river front in Ahmedabad to repliacate similar aura in River tawi in Jammu city.
As per details with Cross Town News , the other members of the delegation are Sushma Chauhan-IAS, DC Jammu & CEO Jammu Smart City Ltd, AvnyLavasa -IAS, Commissioner of Jammu Municipal Corporation, Satish Kumar Sharma, ADC & Additional CEO Jammu Smart City Ltd and others.
The Officials of SRFD Project explained the delegation in detail the development model and concept of the Project .
Sources in Administration told Cross Town News that Tawi River in Jammu will have Riverfront on the lines of SRFD Project and it will be the part of Smart City development plan of Jammu city.
An Official told Cross Town News that , a MoU has already been signed by J&K Administration with the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd.(SRFDCL).
The delegation visited unique developments at SRFD Project like Pedestrian Bridge, International standard Sports Park, the Urban Jungle-Biodiversity Park, Riverfront Flower Park, a Smart Multi Level Car Park etc.
An Official told Cross Town News that the delegation will also visit the Ahmedabad Smart City to study their various projects and its development strategy.
