Jammu Sanskriti School conducts Rapid Tests for Corona

JAMMU, Dec 02: Jammu Sanskriti School conducted Rapid Tests for Corona on Wednesday.

The Press statement with Cross Town News reads "A global approach is the only way to fight Covid-19 as “COVID-19 is menacing the whole of humanity – and so the whole of humanity must fight back. Patronaging  this notion of United Nations, JAMMU SANSKRITI SCHOOL, JAMMU CONDUCTS RAPID TEST FOR CORONA in the school precincts for children who were there for practicals and revision, teaching and non-teaching staff with a specialized team send by CMO to accomplish the afore mentioned task. Rapid test was conducted after taking consent from the parents who willingly allowed their wards for the same.

Children are the hidden victims of the COVID-19 pandemic. Lockdowns and school closures have affected their education, mental health and access to basic health services. The risks of exploitation and abuse are higher than ever, for boys and girls alike. To combat this , the school has commenced practicals and revision for children appearing in board examination and to ensure their safety and security conducted Rapid Test.

This initiative was taken by The Management and Principal of school who conveyed their gratitude to Ms Sushma Chauhan ;DC, Jammu and Cmo for the support and cooperation rendered to the school. Commenting on the same , Ms Rohini Aima stated that for children on the move or living through conflicts, the mission of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) is to coordinate the global emergency response to save lives and protect people in humanitarian crises, the schooladvocates for effective and principled humanitarian action by all and for all."
