MD KPDCL Mohd Aijaz warns Shalaka Infra over poor progress in last 3 months


 
 
Srinagar, Nov 20: Managing Director, Kashmir Power Discom KPDCL Mr Mohammad Aijaz Asad took a detailed review of Projects under various CSSs  in Kashmir Valley today on 20.11.2020. Besides Chief Engineer Projects Er. Javaid Yousuf Dar, Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers of Projects KPDCL, the meeting was also attended by all TKCs, PIAs dealing with the Projects. During meeting the chair reviewed scheme wise progress of works/projects, brief details of which are detailed as under:

The chair further laid stress on works under DDUGJY and informed all the executing agencies that no extension beyond 31st  March,2021 is possible from the Ministry of Power Govt of India and as such physical and financial component of works be completed by or before the deadline fixed by the Government. Further the chair observed that M/s Shalaka Infra is lagging in the progress during last three months. The chair  directed them to complete the fixed milestones by 15th December,2020 else Termination proceedings shall be initiated against them.  It was intimated that next review regarding progress of works will be held in  the first week of December.
