Dr Kotwal discusses hosting of Cadastral Information System

JAMMU, OCTOBER 29- Principal Secretary, Revenue Department/ Financial Commissioner, Revenue/ CEO, JaKLaRMA, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, today inspected the State Data Center of IT Department at Jammu and discussed hosting of Cadastral Information System (CIS) developed by M/s RAMTeCH Software Solution Private Limited for providing on line citizen centric services of Land Records in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

The In-charge Data Center apprised the Principal Secretary that about 42,000 scanned Cadastral Maps and 03 TB scanned data of Revenue documents of District Jammu has been hosted in the Data Center. Besides, additional space particularly for revenue data is being created in the Data Center by installation of more Hardware and Software.

Later, Principal Secretary convened a meeting which was attended by Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, Sanjeev Verma, Regional Director S&LR, Jammu, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmed Choudhary, Additional Commissioner (Central), Rishpal Singh, ADC Jammu, Ghansham Singh, ADC, Jammu, Satish Sharma, Additional Secretary, Revenue, Sudershan Kumar, Administrative Officer, Revenue and team of M/s RAMTeCH Software Solution Private Limited headed by Business Head, RAMTeCH, Satish Saini.

AGM Software, RAMTeCH Software Solution Private Limited, Tarun Moruia, demonstrated the applications of Cadastral Information System developed under the Project DILRMP in the meeting.

The Modules of CIS applications including Map view, Land Parcel search, Revenue documents, Khasra Girdawari, Mutation Grievances, Feedback, Report, User Modules, Revenue Register, Mutation Request & Survey/re-survey were also demonstrated. Principal Secretary after over viewing the Modules of CIS application advised the Service Provider to put some sample data into applications for next demonstration expected to be held on 05.11.2020.
