JAMMU, Oct 11: There is no unambogiuous transfer policy visible in Jammu and Kashmir and more importantly the department which orders tranfers and postings in Administration, itself looks to have most issues.

As per details with Cross Town News ,  Officers in General Administration department are sticking to Chairs for more than 3 years , where the general notion is that tenure should not be more than Two years as Officers can play inflential roles.

As per details with Cross Town News,  the same General Administration department orders tranfers of Officers in violation of transfer policy, where even Officers have been shifted twice in less than 24 hours time and it is normal procedure to shift Officer pre maturely.

Which Barometer or Thermometer , GAD department is using to transfer Officers over the last one decade or so? Some not touched for three years and some are touched in just months/weeks/days.

If Jammu and Kashmir wants to have proper transfer policy, which will only  lead to transparent administration , the need of the hour is to first clean up the General Administration department.

Now it is up to incumbent Commissioner Secretary GAD , how  he acts to clean up his department first and then only the Transfer policy can be implemented in J&K.
