AHMEDABAD, Aug 11: A 13-year-old Muslim girl, Tanzeem, is set to unfurl the tricolour at Lal Chowk area in Srinagar in a bid to send strong message to separatists in the valley.
"Kashmir is integral-part of India. We don’t need anyone’s permission to go there. This is our right,” Tanzeem told reporters and the girl's family have threatened to sit on a hunger strike if not allowed to unfurl the National Flag in Srinagar.
Tanzeem and her family will leave for Srinagar on August 11 from Ahmedabad and will arrive in Srinagar via Delhi on August 14..
