REASI, Aug 9: Financial Commissioner Revenue Pramod Kumar Jain today convened a meeting to review the functioning of the department at Conference Hall, DC complex.
Deputy Commissioner, Reasi Ravinder Kumar, ADC Udhampur Angrez Singh Rana, ACR Abdul Sattar, SDMs Katra, Mahore, Tehsildars and Naib Tehsildars attended the meeting.
While addressing the meeting, the Financial Commissioner stressed on expediting the disposal of pending court cases, matters pertaining to Land acquisition and updation of revenue records. He also stressed upon the officers to conduct regular tours and ensure proper upkeep of the records.
Detailed Discussions were also held on various issues like Status of Mutations, Encroachment of Kahcharai land and state land etc.
Earlier, DC Reasi presented the district revenue profile and the status of new administrative units in the district. He also put forth the details of infrastructure required for the smooth functioning of the revenue offices.
The FC assured that all genuine issues of the Revenue Department will be taken up and addressed at the earliest.
