IGP Jammu visited Samba, held meeting to review the Border Security gird of Samba Kathua & National Highway


 
              Jammu , September 26:Inspector  General of Police, Jammu Zone , Jammu Sh. Mukesh Singh- IPS  visited district Samba and held a meeting to review the Border Security Grid and National Highway especially in light of the of the apprehensions of carrying out of subversive activities by the ANEs .
              The meeting was attended DIG JKS Range Sh.Vivek Gupta , DIG Udr-Reasi Range Sh. Sujit Kumar- IPS , DIG DKR Range Sh Ab.Jabbar-IPS, SSP  Kathua Sh .Shalinder Mishra -IPS ,SSP Samba Shri Rajesh Sharma-JKPS, SSP Jammu Sh.Shridhar Patil-IPS,SSP Udhampur Ms. Shargun Shukla-IPS  ,SP OPS Jammu Shri Naresh Kumar-JKPS, Addl.SP Samba besides other Police officers of the district.                                                 
               Sh.Rajesh Sharma, JKPS, SSP Samba gave a detailed power point presentation on the security set up in the District viz a viz deployment of BSF/Army and District Police Samba in three tiers on the CT grid of District Samba.
             This was followed by presentations by SP operations, SSP Kathua and DIG Udhampur on the emerging challenges along the international border and about the suggested measures to improve the security grid.
            IGP Jammu Zone ,Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS in the meeting exhorted upon the officers to work in unison and sensitized them about the emerging challenges and the recent trends in that region. Suggestions of officers were compiled and instructions provided to improve and strengthen the security grid. Cases of dropping of weapons with the help of drones was specially delved upon and suggestions to counter the same were discussed.
          We have to remain on the constant vigil and alert so that any evil attempt to disrupt peace in UT of J&K is effectively foiled; he added
 
          @mukesh_ips_jk impressed for further strengthening relations with the people of border areas and emphasized to continue good teamwork with full coordination and synergy at various levels among police Army and other security forces.
