Police Online Darbar organised by Udhampur Reasi range HQ

Udhampur, September 26: With a view to remain connected with the general public as well as police personnel deployed in the field in present situation arising due to COVID-19 pandemic and keeping in consideration the principle of social distancing, the 2nd Online grievance hearing session was  organized by Range Police Headquarters Udhampur chaired by Sh. Sujit Kumar, IPS, #DIGURRange. The 1st Session was held on 30.05.2020.
 
 The Online Grievance Hearing Session initiative aimed with a perception to listen the grievances of General Public/Police personnel's by using digital craft instead of being in physical appearance which will not only encourage everyone to acclimatize with digital technology but also helps to prevent the spread of virus. It will provide a platform to the common public of remote areas especially women folk who are not in a position to visit senior officers in connection with redressal of their genuine grievances due to prevailing situation. 
 This pandemic is being fought collectively by all of us to make our world healthier, happier and free from COVID-19. Police personnel and public in general advised to take precautions at highest level.
 
 Various issues highlighted by General Public/Police personnel were taken into consideration and were assured for timely redressal on merits. 
 Among the attendants, Senior Police officers, Jawans and large number of public also participated in this #MegaEvent. Due to technical reasons (poor internet service) the video was not saved, anyone who have a genuine grievance can comment/inbox message.
