New Delhi, September 15: The Income-tax department denied that a large amount of transactions made in a financial year will come under the scrutiny of the Income-tax department and the taxpayers will be required to disclose their details in a statement of financial transactions.
This has put an end to the ongoing controversy among the taxpayers. The current form of income tax return will remain the same for the current financial year, the Income Tax Department has clarified.
