Jammu, August 31: The Government today appointed Arun Kumar Manhas, Project Director, SAMAGRA Shiksha as Chairman and five other officers/ individuals as Members of the Board of Directors of the Jammu Citizens’ Cooperative Bank for three months or till the elections are held.
The other members of the JCCB, BoD are, Deepika Mahajan Senior Advocate J&K High Court, a representative from J&K Bank to be nominated by Chairman, representative from NABARD to be nominated by CGM, Rajat Mengi Chartered Accountant and the Managing Director/ CEO (Member Secy) of the Jammu Citizen;s Cooperative Bank Ltd.
The three year term of the BODs of the JCCB was over on 25-8-2017 & due to COVID-19 situation, the DM did not allowed the conduct of elections.
Therefore, the process of election was deferred for at least three months or till the situation improves.
