KATHUA, AUGUST 26:- District Administration Kathua today retrieved 56-kanal encroached state land here at Village Rakh Hoshiayri, Jasrota.
Taking prompt cognizance of the encroachment reported on the state land, a revenue team headed by Tehsildar, Kathua, Gourav Sharma, accompanied by police party, used JCB machines to demolish seven illegal structures constructed on the encroached state land.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner, O.P. Bhagat said that the district administration will adopt zero tolerance against the encroachers. The DC said that encroachment of the government land and assets would be dealt strictly and the encroachers will be booked under law. He added that the retrieved state land was recently identified for establishment of Homeopathy Medical College proposed for the district.
