Jammu, July 28: The website namely https://jk.gov.in along with its section https://jk.gov.in/jkeservices/ is down from the server and becomes inaccessible for the applicants at a time when claims for the prompt issuance of domicile certificates are being made by the government. .
The main web page reads : “Service Unavailable The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.
However, lot of applicants spoke to Cross Town News that they have applied since one month but they have not got the Domocile certificate yet speaks that how time framed by Govt regarding the issuance of Domiciles is in operation.
When spoken to one Revenue Official regarding the issue, he said system is so slow & lot of time it dont work due to poor connectivity is to be looked into but by whom...?
A Tehsildar has been attached over the domicile issue & more shall follow, if Tehsildars will not report the facts of working of website to the Govt, either they should find out a way to download the applications & may issue mannually.
