Jammu, July 10: Directorate General of GST Intelligence officers of Jammu & Kashmir regional unit with assistance from officers of Chandigarh Zonal Unit of DGGI have raided three premises of manufacturers of TMT Saria and Cement located at Kathua.
During the search operations gross irregularities were found in records maintained by these companies and the initial estimates of tax evasion in one unit is estimated to be around 3.60 crore for a period covering August 2019 to March 2020 only.
