REASI, APRIL 03: Deputy Commissioner, Indu Kanwal Chib today visited Mahore region and inspected various shops dealing with essential items and groceries.
It was observed that people were adhering to social distancing directives satisfactorily and the DC appreciated people and the shopkeepers for their co operation.
Later, the DC took a meeting regarding PDS at Dak Bungalow Mahore. She maintained that no one should suffer during the ongoing lockdown for want of food. Various other issues related to ration supply to the region were also addressed in the meeting.
The meeting was attended by SDM Mahore, Santosh Gunwantrao Sukhadeve, Tehsilder Mahore, Nirbhay Sharma, TSO Mahore, Mohd Yakub, officials of CAPD, BDC Chairperson Mahore, Shaida Parveen and Sarpanch Mohammad Mushtaq among other elected panchayat members ration dealers of various panchayats.
The Deputy Commissioner later held a meeting with all district officers at Conference Hall. All officers were directed to carry on with routine work so that the public do not suffer at any front.
