Kishtwar, Mar 24: With the aim to become fully prepared for tackling any emergency situation that may arise due to prevailing threat of spreading corona virus which is persistently engulfing the whole world and as a precautionary measure District Magistrate Kishtwar Rajinder Singh Tara has notified 13 additional quarantine facilities and has asked for their immediate take over .
The notified new quarantine facilities are at GHSS Girls Kishtwar,GHSS Boys Kishtwar,B.V.M. HSS Kishtwar, Adarsh Balnikatan HS Kishtwar,GDC kishtwar,Girls Hostel Chhatroo, Gujjar and Bakarwal hostel chhatroo,Girls Hostel Sarthal,Himalayan Culture Centre Gumpa Padder,CFC building Padder,NHPC and CVPP buildings kishtwar, Bursar House NHPC Kishtwar and Bait ul Zayreen near hidyal Chowk kishtwar.
Tehsildars Kishtwar ,Chhatroo and Padder have been directed for immediate take over of these buildings besides to make these facilities fully functional CMO kishtwar has been directed to deploy medical teams at these facilities. Furthermore District Treasury Office Kishtwar, who is the inchage of the logistics has been asked to provide the necessary logistics support required to make these centres fully functional. Furthermore DM himself paid a visit to various notified quarantine facilities of kishtwar town and took the first hand review of various facilities like availability of sufficient space,water ,electricity , ventilation etc in these notified buildings and asked the nodal officers appointment for each facility to ensure that all facilities are kept in place.
Earlier in the morning DM also held an orientation programme of the nodal officers appointment for the various notified quarantine facilities and during the training programme Nodal officers were educated about the various SOPs and precautionary measures to be undertaken for safe and secure handling of these quarantine centres.
