Bandipora, March 21: On the directions of District Magistrate Bandipora, 13 shops were sealed by Executive Magistrate for attracting a rush of people thus violating Section 144. A hotel under the banner “King Star” was also sealed for violating the orders.
Accordingly, the violators have been booked under FIR No. 21/2020 US 188 at Police Station Bandipora. Restrictions have been imposed in the district under Section 144 as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of COVID-2019. Deputy Commissioner Bandipora has appealed the people of the district to cooperate with the administration by remaining indoors to prevent the pandemic from affecting them.
